2. Use the Right Products According to Your Hair Type

Curly, straight, wavy, or coily—every hair type has its own love language. I learned to listen to mine and picked products that whispered sweet nothings to my strands, keeping them strong and nourished. For my wavy and frizzy mane, it was all about hydration and frizz control.

3. Regular Hair Wash But Do Not Overwash Your Hair

I used to wash my hair every day, thinking I was doing it a favor. Boy, was I wrong! It stripped my hair of its natural oils and left it drier than a desert. Now, I’m on a thrice-a-week schedule, and my hair’s never been happier.

4. Put Hair Oiling in Your Routine

Oiling is the OG hair care ritual. I remember my grandma warming up that coconut oil and working it through my hair, telling me stories of her youth. It’s not just about tradition; it’s about deep nourishment from root to tip.

So, if you are looking to grow some hair carrier oils like argon oil, olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil and essential oils like rosemary oil, pumpkin seed oil, peppermint oil is your hair’s new bff.

Just mix any of 3 drops of Essential oil + Carrier oil. Every time you oil your hair and enjoy the benefits.

Note: In my experience, if you are using castor oil as carrier oil then you need dilute it with lighter oils like coconut oil or olive oil because the castor oil is too thick and often times tends to clog your pores if used in it’s original state and it is a workout to wash it out of your hair.

5. Use a Streamer

The steam opens up the hair cuticles, allowing all the goodness from oils and masks to really soak in. It’s like giving your hair a deep drink of water. I started steaming my hair once a week after hair oiling and it’s been thanking me by being more manageable and less prone to breakage.

6. Inversion Method

This might sound like something out of a yoga class, but it’s actually a hair growth hack. By flipping your head over and letting your hair hang down, you’re increasing blood flow to your scalp. I did this for a few minutes every day, and it’s like my hair got an energy boost.

7. Use Gentle Shampoo

Babes, Your scalp is like the soil for your hair—it needs to be treated with care. I ditched those harsh shampoos with sulfates and parabens and switched to gentler, more natural options. It’s like switching from fast food to organic—your hair notices the difference.

Masking is not just for the ‘gram. I treated my hair to nutrient-rich masks that promised growth and strength, I whipped up homemade masks with ingredients like avocado, egg, and honey.—and they delivered.

A clean scalp is the foundation of healthy hair growth. I made sure to exfoliate regularly to remove any product buildup, which can clog pores and suffocate hair follicles. Think of it as decluttering your scalp to make room for new growth.

10. Use Hair Tonic

If there is one thing i love to use in hair growth journey is hair tonic, since we just need to leave in and not rinse out the next day is enough motivation for me to be consistent with it. Plus, we can use it daily.

Ok, there are readymade products as well. And homemade hair tonic ( Just the Intial cost would be much higher. Since, you need to but all the ingredients but it’ll last you for at least 1.5 years. Not bad, right? )
